The wedding pics: 18th of august

It has been an very ... warm wedding, because it was incredible too see our friend so happy and balanced like never before.

There were 4 people, actually her closest and oldest, who managed to travel to Siberia, 4000 km far away from Moscow (and for me actually about 6000 from Germany:D) to see and celebrate with her. And of course her parents and sister.

As I said in my toast to the bachelor: "She guided and protected us over 10 years, and I hope, we were good enough to protect her. Now it`s your task to continue this. She said to me once, she is ready to go after you till the end of the world. And I wish you, you both are always ready to give everything just to be with each other. Because this is love".

She has been like a sister to me. She knew and knows almost everything about my life. She cried with me, when I was down, and said, she wished to take just some pain to make it easier for me. She was happy, when I was it, and loved the people, who brought the happiness for me.

Now I am happy to see the happiness in her and his eyes. It`s incredibly cute couple. And I was always impressed what they both are ready to give and to sacrifice for each other. First she moved to Novosibirsk several months ago, giving everything up - her home city, her family, her long years friends, her well-paid job. Some months passed, but she had difficulties to find a job there, so Alexey decided to go go back to her home city, because of more opportunities for her there. So they are back in Moscow now, and I am just happy, I will see her more often than it would be in Siberia :D.

Celebrating the wedding in Russia is pretty traditional, so it was here. Civil registry office, then walking through different places in the city, like parks, monuments etc and finally the party in the restaurant. Here are some pics from this day.

The wedding.. eee, I mean, the rehearsal of the wedding =) Wrong actors, but right witnesses to a marriage, so who cares=)

The real couple

Me and Masha were honestly about to cry in the registry office . But the registar was THAT much pathetic that we actually stood there in the corner and were just giggling

.. and were touched just by the moment when the two were swaping the wedding rings

Bed of roses

... And the cleaner to sweep away

Picturing each other of the highway, on the way to the park

The woman right to me doesn`t belong to us=))

Some of the guests in the park

5 friends, 5 old moscow friends (ok, 4 - and the sister=)

It`s an old tradition in Russia that the couple has to eat some bread with salt and to drink and smash the glasses before the celebration

The restaurant for the celebration was a kind of a military cafe, pretty funny and unusual

"Now it`s your task to guide and protect her..."

"... and let me add a word - she has always been pretty idealistic about her future partner - and you completely fullfilled these requests "

Dances

There was the competition, who will be the first in opening the candy for his woman, wearing the boxer gloves

Alexey, performing the song from their first date

Wedding cake

In the restaurant with russian cuisine at the day we arrived.

It was definately the best sushi I`ve ever eaten in my life (and the people, who know me, know about my sushi passion:D)

Old side-show-park (pay attention to the Big Wheel :D)

Ok, I try to post the rest of my russian pics, and lets start (or better to say, finish :D) with Novosibirsk. and its still the day (at least, what was left from him - we woke up something around 2 and were having our late breakfast at 4 pm :D) after the wedding, when we, moscow' guests, were walking through the city.
Sasha, Masha, Dasha (please pay attention to this nice name combination :D)

On the Ob' river-bank

Very often I had a feeling, time stays still in Novosibirsk :-) Several modern buildings adjoin with soviet-time buildings and attractions. Or, like here, the soviet proletarian statue infront of the city theatre =) (and actually on the left of it - the statue of Lenin :D)

Picturing two (retired) ballet dancers near the theatre :D

And actually at the end of this weekend we have been so sick of too much newly wedded couples that we decided to represent some of them :D

You're my rose...
